Killed! I loved this piece, but unfortunately the client didn’t… it happens. It was for a piece on business management practices but the brief was maddeningly vague. I pulled the idea from the opening paragraph of the article, in which reference was made to the old tale about blind men and an elephant. Oh well, I still think it’s a strong piece for my portfolio. Just title it under “personal”.
It’s been a while since I posted any new work here. But the last few months of 2011 were a pretty busy, crazy time here at MCKIBILLO HQ. The biggest thing was our move from Japan back to the States. It was a hard choice to leave Japan, but for a variety of personal reasons we felt it was the right choice. Now we’re finally all settled in and I’m back in the saddle again. Working like mad and ready to post. Watch this space.
Here’s a fun project. A bit of old school sci-fi for a book cover. This is for the ebook “Harlan’s Wake”, by the incomparable John Mierau, author of "Enemy Lines" (one of my favorite fiction podcasts at the moment). Definitely worth checking out.
